CamLocker aluminum chest boxes offer dependable storage for work, travel, recreation and outdoor use. Originally developed as tack boxes for horse and livestock applications, their versatile design also works well as an in-bed truck toolbox, RV cargo box, trailer box, garage storage chest or dock box.
Unlike a crossover toolbox that rests on the bed rails, a CamLocker chest box sits inside the pickup bed for a lower, more streamlined appearance. This design helps preserve rear-window visibility and provides convenient storage for tools, recovery equipment, camping gear, riding supplies and other valuable cargo.
CamLocker chest boxes measure approximately 20 inches from front to back and 20 inches from top to bottom. Dual locking handles provide convenient access and added security, while the lid opens to approximately 90 degrees to make loading and unloading easier. Available widths include 36, 48, 53, 57 and 60 inches.
Multiple lower-corner configurations are offered for different installations. Beveled models feature 4 x 4-inch angled corners and are recommended for pickup-bed use. Full-notch and Super Crew notch configurations provide clearance around select truck wheel wells. Integrated rails are also available on select models for securing additional cargo.
